Rosalia
Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is the Spanish Pop/Flamenco singer. She has been a part of the fringes of both traditional and popular music since her teenage years, she also delves into other styles like Hip-Hop Soul and Trap. Pepe Habichuela has described her voice as crisp and sweet but having a bit of bite. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough making it to the top of Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately winning an Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Her third long-player Motomami featured songwriting collaborations with many artists and producers including Cory Henry and James Blake. It was released on March 20, 2022, in the wake of the live performance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish artist to sing solo on the show. In addition to winning three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first woman to win this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
